Project Hope

Project Hope gives Mexican families a helping hand to survive their difficult living conditions. When you support any one of the following programs, you give each family Amor touches a fighting chance for a better future.

Project Hope Programs:

In Mexico, public education is not free.  Many parents not only pay a school fee and purchase uniforms, but are also required to provide all the necessary school supplies for each of their children.  This is often a burden on a family who only earns roughly $30 a week.

Help these children receive the education they deserve by donating to purchase a back to school kit that includes the required materials: backpacks, notebooks, glue, boxes of pencils, pens, crayons, and markers, sharpeners, scissors, rulers, calculators, erasers, folders, three ring binders, lined paper, and graph paper.

$100 provides each Pastor on the Mexico Ministry Planning Board (MMPB) with a stipend to meet the food needs of their own families and of those within their churches.  Imagine the impact if we could provide more!  Many of the Pastors on the MMPB run daily food programs for their communities.

Amor's monthly goal for Project Hope: Hunger No More is to provide $3,000 per month's worth of food for the Mexican Pastors to feed their families and distribute to hungry families in the Tijuana, Tecate, Rosarito, Puerto Peñasco, and Ciudad Juarez neighborhoods.  Help extend the church's arms and feed the hungry.

Supply families with a source of clean, drinkable water through the purchase of a (simple yet effective) water filtration system.  For $100, you can provide a family with one water filter, bucket, and maintenance class!  A water filter can completely reshape the daily life and future of a Mexican family.

Amor's Mexican Pastors distributes the Sawyer Point One Filter, which cleans five gallons of water in 13 minutes and has a one million-gallon guarantee.  It is effective, efficient, easy to set up, maintain, and use. Most importantly, its simple design is appropriate for the environment and accepted by the Mexican people.

For just $5 a Bible, you can assist the local church in Mexico in their goal to place a Bible in the hands of those who can't afford to purchase one.  Spanish Bibles often cost three times as much in Mexico as they do in the United States.

By donating to Project Hope: Spread the Word, you will be providing a Mexican Pastor with the opportunity to give a family the Word of God and stock their churches with Bibles for their congregations.

When winter sets in, many families living in Tijuana, Tecate, and Rosarito, Mexico, find themselves not only in need of adequate shelter, but also struggling to keep their children and themselves warm and healthy. Winter Relief aims to address these struggles.

Winter Relief is a program that enables Amor's local Mexican Pastors to meet the needs within their communities.  Through the provision of essential winter items, such as jackets, blankets, and Christmas toys, you can help Amor meet the needs of our neighbors across the border.

You are providing for very tangible needs during what can often be a harsh winter season.
