Year-Long Internship

Why Intern for a Year?

The Amor Ministries internship is a year-long experience that provides personal exposure to the various aspects of missions, Amor's mission experience in particular.  As a year-long intern, you will be immersed in a program tailored to your own interests within the variety of existing programs available within Amor Ministries.

As a year-long intern, you will receive personalized training, cross-cultural and multicultural experiences, and immediate feedback that will utilize and stretch your current talents and education.  A core component to the year-long internship is coaching, which you will receive while serving at Amor.  Andy Stanley, author of The Next Generation Leader, says, “Coaching enables a leader to go farther, faster.”  At the completion of the Amor Ministries' year-long internship, you will be able to articulate your personal mission, implement conflict resolution strategies, name your personal leadership strengths, as well as create a vision for your future.

Internship Opportunities

The following internship opportunities are a few of the potential components that can be incorporated into a Year-Long Internship Program. The schedule for all year-long interns is put together by the Intern Coordinator. The schedule is tailored for each intern with consideration of the skills, experience and goals of the intern, as well as the needs of the Ministry.
