We all have our "Lions"
To many, the proverbial “Lion” bearing down on us looks different. For some it’s a relationship, for some it’s the economy, and for some it’s life itself. How different would our lives look if for one moment, we stopped running away from those Lions and started running at them? We take control, it’s us chasing them. It takes courage to face your fears; to change your circumstances.
Facing your fears is easier with the help of someone else. When you see someone face the same fears you have, it gives you hope. When you see someone be courageous it ignites courage in you. That is what the Lion Chase is all about! By you coming out and supporting this race, you take a leap of courage. You ignite courage inside of families struggling with poverty. Your race fee goes to providing a house for a family. After that family receives the home, imagine how that can impact them. Suddenly poverty doesn’t look so scary. Suddenly they change their circumstance. Suddenly they turn around and start chasing their Lion.
Race Details
The Lion Chase 5k Fun Run will be on Saturday, September 29 at Tidelands Park on beautiful Coronado Island. This event is for everyone! Bring your friends and family and help Amor make a huge impact in the lives of impoverished families around the world.
