Overview
Mission Trip Leaders are one of Amor’s most valued assets – which is why we have created the National Advisory Conference. Join us in sunny San Diego for two days of training, celebration and education about Amor.
The conference includes:
- Energize training with Urban Saints CEO, Matt Summerfield
- Sticky Faith training seminar (web site) with "Sticky Faith" co-author Brad Griffin
- Worship with our Pastors in Mexico
- Dinner with our staff in Mexico and a sneak peak our group food services program, La Cocina
- A behind the scenes look at what Amor does
- Lodging, Meals, and Transportation to Mexico

5 p.m. - Return to US for Evening Session with Matt Summerfield

Matt Summerfield CEO of Urban Saints, 100 year old UK based youth organization with 30,000 youth Matt Summerfield is the Chief Executive of the youth and children’s missionary movement Urban Saints. He is passionate about seeing this rising generation of children and young people being released into their full God-given potential. Matt is an ordained minister within the New Testament Church of God and is very involved in his local church, Hitchin Christian Centre, where he is an Associate Minister heading up the 11-18s work. Matt is married to Jo and has two sons, Andrew (18) and Daniel (15). He enjoys nothing better than a good movie, a meaty pizza and some Ben-n-Jerry’s to follow.

Brad Griffin Fuller Youth Institute, Co-Author of Sticky Faith Brad Griffin serves as the Associate Director for the Fuller Youth Institute (FYI). Brad holds a Master of Divinity with a concentration in Youth, Family, and Culture from Fuller and a BA in Psychology from Asbury College. Brad coordinates FYI’s research efforts, leads workshops, develops resources, manages FYI’s online presence, consults with youth workers, and manages the private foundation grants of FYI. He has co-authored Sticky Faith (youth leader edition and student curriculum, 2011-2012), Deep Justice Journeys (2009), and has authored or co-authored articles for the FYI E-Journal, Journal of Student Ministries and YouthWorker Journal, as well as chapters in Middle School Ministry (2009), Deep Ministry in a Shallow World (2006) and Halos and Avatars (2010). A native Kentuckian, Brad now lives in Pasadena with his wife Missy and their three children. After 15 years in youth ministry, he now volunteers in student and worship ministries.
