Welcome Parents!

Thank you for stopping by the Amor Ministries site to better understand what your child will be experiencing on their Amor Ministries mission trip. We understand that you are concerned with your child's safety, getting a better grasp on the trip details, and being involved with what your child is doing.

We hope to calm any fears and assure you that because Amor has been doing this work since 1980, your child will be in good hands.

"We believe the love of Jesus is conveyed not merely with words, but with deeds. Since 1980, we've been 'proclaiming' the gospel in the most basic, tangible ways possible - showing our love for him by loving the people of Mexico" (Scott Congdon, Founder and CEO).

For over 15,000 families, hope has come in the shape of a house. Your child will take part in building safe, secure homes for families - something most Amor home recipients experience for the first time in their lives. We invite you to take part in this life-changing journey with your child.

We have put together several pages to help you in this process. You can read about your child's experience while on an Amor mission Trip, get some helpful tips about how to welcome your child back after their trip, and learn more about our values and beliefs.
