What camp will be like:
Our camps will be basic, and by basic we mean no electricity, flushing toilets, or Starbuck's. See pictures

What a worksite will be like:
Worksites can vary but most of them are dirt....until you finish....and then it's a house! See pictures

What a family will be like:
It's hard to say what the family you will be building for will be like. The size usually ranges from a family of 8 to a couple. One thing is for sure....you will be impacted by them more than you think. See pictures

Where Your Money Goes

When you chose to participate in an Amor Mission Trip, you are choosing to contribute not only your time, but also your money, and possibly your supporters' money to changing the life of a family through a new home.

If you are participating on an Amor Mission Trip through your church or organization, you will most likely raise money to cover the cost of trip with Amor (Amor's trip fees), and additional costs incurred with your group.  Some of these extra costs might include travel to your Amor Mission Trip location, food, and transportation.

Amor's Mission Trip Fees:

Trip fees for each Amor ministry location vary due to each ministry locations' economy and need.

Your Amor Mission Trip would not be possible without the help of Amor's Casa de Amor Partners.  Individuals who sign up to be a Casa de Amor Partner contribute $25 a month to go towards the building materials of one home.  Eight partners are joined together to raise the $2,400 it costs to build one home for a family.

Because of your work as an Amor Mission Trip participant and the faithful giving of our Casa de Amor Partners, Amor is able to build over 1,000 homes in Mexico, South Africa, and the United States each year!  For more information on how you can continue to contribute toward the building of homes with Amor, visit our Casa de Amor page to see how you can become a Casa de Amor Partner today!

Amor is a member of the ECFA and is audited by an independent firm each year.  Take a look at our latest Annual Report to learn more.
