Q: What are the Amor individual trips?
Amor Ministries is now offering a one day trip and a three day trip opportunity for individuals and small groups to build a house in Baja California, Mexico and the San Carlos Reservation, Arizona for a family in need.

Q: How do we register for the Amor individual trips?
You can register online.
Q: Can children participate?
Yes, however children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a chaperon (over the age of 18).
Q: Are passports required?
Yes.
Q: What will Amor Ministries provide for the Amor Three Day trip?
Amor Ministries will provide:
- A pre-poured cement slab
- First aid kit items
- A site foreman and trip leader (including building manuals)
- All the building materials and tools required
- Food, water, and tents
- Transportation while in Mexico (You can choose to drive your own vehicle if you prefer.)
Q: Do we need a Mission Trip Leader?
No! An Amor Team Members will act as the Amor Mission Trip Leader.
Q: Do we need a construction foreman?
No! An Amor Team Member will act as the construction foreman. (If you are or your small group has an experienced foreman, please advise Amor Ministries.)
Q: What should I bring for the Amor One Day trip?
You must be able to carry everything you bring (this is very important for border crossing).
- A water bottle, water will be provided at the worksite
- Sunscreen, a hat, and work gloves
- Wear work clothing, no shorts or open toe shoes allowed
- Personal tools, if you desire (all necessary will be provided)
- Snacks (meals will be provided)
- Camera
- Any necessary medications
Q: What should I bring for the Amor Three Day trip?
- Sleeping bag and pillow
- Toiletries
- Clothing for 3 days, 2 nights
- A water bottle, water will be provided at the worksite
- Sunscreen, a hat, and work gloves
- Wear work clothing, no shorts or open toe shoes allowed
- Personal tools, if you desire (all necessary will be provided)
- Snacks (meals will be provided)
- Camera
- Any necessary medications.

Q: What are the transportation logistics?
The Amor One Day - Participants will be responsible for getting themselves to the Amor meeting location (located near the United States side of the Otay Mesa border crossing), the exact location will be announced by Mission Services to those that are registered.
The Amor Three Day - Specific time and meeting location will be announced by Mission Services to those that are registered. Meeting location will be in San Diego, Ca. You will be transported by bus or an Amor vehicle from the meeting location in the United States to the work site and campsite in Mexico. If the meeting location is at the Amor Ministries Global Headquarters, parking at and near the office is extremely limited and not guaranteed. If you would prefer to drive your own vehicle into Mexico, please contact Mission Services at 619.662.1200 ext.6.
Q: Can I drive my vehicle into Mexico?
Only if you are participating in the Amor Three Day. If you would prefer to drive your own vehicle into Mexico, you will need Mexico car insurance. Please contact Mission Services at 619.662.1200 ext.6 for details.
Q: What about food, beverages, and tents?
Amor (and Camping Pros) will provide all the food, water, and tents necessary for all participants.
Q: How much does the Amor individual mission trips cost?
The Amor One Day to Mexico- $75.00 per person.
The Amor One Day to San Carlos - $150.00 per person.
The Amor Three Day to Mexico and San Carlos- $400.00 per person.
A 50% deposit is required at the time of registration. Registration fees are payable directly to Amor Ministries.
