Amor mission trips to San Carlos entail so much more than just building a home for a family in need. Your groups experience will include: Sweat. Outhouses. Joy. Apache Community. Family. Team building. Mud. Sore muscles. Bucket showers. New friends.

The Build Process:
The process to build a home in San Carlos will include 2 phases. Each phase can be completed by a group of 20 people in 4-5 work days. The home will be 28' x 24' and include 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. It will be constructed out of Panel W.
Phase 1 - The "shell" phase
The following will be completed in phase 1:
- The foundation will be pre-poured
- The walls will be put up, with the windows and doors cut out
- Rough plumbing and electrical tubes will be added
- Stucco will be placed on roof and the exterior and interior walls.
Phase 2 - The "finish" phase
The following will be completed in phase 2:
- Touch up stucco
- Install non-live electrical wires
- Paint the exterior and interior walls
- Install doors
- Install cupboards in kitchen and bathroom
- Install appliances
